What is traffication

Featured Replies

Just bought new  Kamiq SE-L after many years of a Karoq. Have been working through the various set-ups in the system - connect etc and have got most going but I keep getting a message about traffication. What exactly is this? Puzzled as I seem to have all the relevant connection things set - the sat nav works although I default to Waze normally. Is Traffication a pay for? The sat nav knows where it is  - anyone help me out here. How do I stop this annoying message?

Thanks

Grumpy

Never heard of it, sorry🤷🏻‍♂️

Will have a look and try to deselect - thanks for that. Certainly don’t want it.

Just got clarification. This is a Skoda pay for and it essentially only does what Waze does for free. It lets subscribers input traffic conditions in real time. Apparently I get a year for free and it updates the Skoda. Map system.

My understanding is that it informs you of delays and diversions even when you are not using the sat-nav.

It seems to have gained some functions. It auto downloaded as part of App Udates the day after I collected the car.

A little later I was warned about a speed camera.

You do have to pay after the free trial ends.

i'll see how it goes and keeping it will depend on cost!

Becoming less impressed with Traffication. Sometimes reports possible speed camera sometimes does not report for the same fixed camera.
