My ŠKODA Karoq 2018  has an issue with the electric boot closure, it opens up with no issues,  however when I press the button to close it, the boot closes half way then stops, if you press the button again it just beeps.

I have taken it back to the top and tried to reset it by holding the button in but it just still stop half way down, and I have to push it down manually to close it.

has anyone else had this issue please and how did you resolve it.

Hi there. I had a similar issues, and it turned out to be 2 broken wires in the sleeve. You can easily check by pulling the sleeve down and have a look at the wires. You can also use vcds and read the errors
