@rawy vcds should offer you the security code. Make sure you have installed correctly the SW, I had the same issue in the past with my vcds and it turned out that in the installation process I've forgot to check a box(install 32bit driver or something like that). Once I did that, all of my issues were gone.

Hello guys, My "Skoda Karoq" letter have arrived from Alliexpress🫣 The quality it's quite good except for the "SKODA" where the letter "A" is bigger than the other letters. I used dental floss to remove the old letters and some sticky remover to remove the old glue. Everything looks great beside the letter "A" which I will replace in the future(ordering another set of "KAROQ" and use that "A" which is the right size). The price was about 10$, but the overall quality is really good.

Just watch the above youtube video that I posted above. Basically, after you have clean the old adesive, you will use the napkin to clean the surface and afterwards, you will break the stick and put some of that on the car surface. This is a glue primer, something like that. Is better explained in the above video 🥂

The badge has a double side tape already install it. I remove the old badge using a hair dryer and a plastic card. It came out very easy. I then remove the remaining glue with a sticky remover spray. The badge comes with a cleaning napkin which I used after I have clean the glue. I have also purchased a primer from the Kopacek to activate the glue better. The badge has 3 pins on its back to help you align it. It's a 10-15 minutes job but the final result is worth it. I am expecting the letters to arrive these days and then I will take care of the chrome from the windows. The final part will be the bars from the roof, I think I will wrap them or find someone to paint them. I tried plastidip but the finish was not how I was expecting. I used this video as an example. Later edit: I had also to code the ParkAssist module to let it know about the Lane Assist, afterwards everything worked as expected.

Just started the chrome delete process. This is what I have done so far: badges(from Kopacek, former Superskoda) and front grill. The prices of the badges are high but good quality.

Hello, I have a Skoda Karoq 2019 and it has sign recon and HBA. Can anyone help me with the steps to activate the lane assit(coding with vcds)? I did some steps that I found on yt for skoda superb but it doesn't seem to work for my karoq. I can see the option on dashboard and multimedia but I get an error when I try to activate. Thank you!

Hello together, I own a 2019 Skoda Karoq and it came from factory with sign recognition and later I have activated the HBA. Now I want to activate lane assist as well, does anyone have the steps to do that? I had followed some steps from yt for skoda superb but it doesn't work for my karoq. Hi guys, Just mounted a dash cam on my Karoq and I think it looks pretty good. The price was 50$ and it's a fhd camera 1920×1080 30fps, no wirring to the fusebox was neccessary, it came with a power cable that connects to the rain sensor. Newer model from 2023 have ambient light on the back doors but the first model doesn't have which is indeed sad

I had removed the tail light, dry it with a hair dryer, put it back and now everything is fine. The seal was a bit missplaced, I think that was the issue. It's been almost 2 weeks now, the weather was rainy but no condensation appeared.

Had the same situation. Plugged the VCDS, follow the coding procedure and in 5 minutes everything was up and running. Will do the same with the Lane Assist which is currently missing

Had the same issue today. It was a really cold day and found the same condensation inside the tail light. I am assuming it happen because I had changed a few days ago the signal and reverse with LEDs and I think I haven't mounted the seal in right way, maybe somehow the condensation got inside. I am planning to remove the tail light and use a hairdryer to remove the water. I will also inspect the seal. Hope I will get rid of the issue. Skoda Karoq 2019 1.6 TDI

Hello guys, Greatings from Romania. Just installed a Mib Std2 5L0035200 on my 2009 Skoda Octavia 2 FL. Everythings works just fine and that audio parameter from 1 to 3 made my day. But I still have some issues. My car had an oem rns510 with bt module, rear parking sensors and a camera low line retrofitted by me using a converter. The sensors are working but I can not make the camera work. If I tweak the rear camera in vcds, the sensors are not working either(I can hear them but they are not displayed). Also, the microphone is not working for calls(is not related to the camera :)) ) I have an open circuit error on the mike which I suspect is not corectly wired. Also, even if I change the picture for sensor from Yeti to anyother cars the sensor are not showed anymore. They only work for Yeti. Thanks a lot for you time! 😊
