I thought it might be worth comparing and updating our order dates and expected build weeks and delivery dates (if known).

 

Obviously there will be differences according to body style, engine, trim and extras, and country of delivery, shipping arrangements, and date when ordered from the dealer, so listing all the information should make the comparisons more useful.

 

For starters, my details: 

 

Hatch, 1.5 eTSI, SE Tech (with winter pack, rear wiper, metallic blue, lounge interior). Ordered from dealer in United Kingdom (Essex) late July 2024, still waiting for confirmation of planned build week and therefore no estimated delivery date.

 

I ordered mine 27.july and get it 3.october after 3weeks of delay caused by nature rain disaster here in europe. Should have been made by 11.9

have now 3000kms

Ordered at teh dealer July 30th. Currently allocated week 48 for build. L&K 2.0 TSI Estate/Combi with HUD

Ordered 15th of July, delivered 15th of Oct.

150 TDI L&K fully loaded

iV L&K, sunroof, tow bar, 19in wheels, family pack, HUD. Ordered 1st week July, picked up first week Oct.

Although I ordered my car the day the order books opened in the UK it may be interesting to compare times then with now.

Now done 6000 miles in the car, four long trips to Bordeaux, Stuttgart, Leeds and Falmouth and very pleased with the car.

It has the usual software problems on damp or frosty mornings but these clear after a couple of miles, only had to reboot (disconnect battery) once.

 

46mpg avg. when on summer tyres reduced to 43mpg now, on all season tyres.

I anticipated delivery delays due to happy Christmas and jolly new years singing & dancing 🤢

 

Hopefully the hardware / software fixes will all be sorted by the time it arrives.

Update on my original post - car was built on 20 November (order placed with dealer in July) and delivery to me is this week.

Ordered Superb L&K 2.0TDi 4x4 Hatch, options of HUD and rear wiper, 27/07/2024.

Built today 27/01/2025, dealer estimates 3 to 4 weeks before it arrives at the dealership…

Superb L&K hybrid estate with family pack, Factory towbar, Head Up display, Ordered 30 August, delivered 22 December.  Only issue mirrors do not lower when reverse selected.  This option is selected in the Vehicle-vehicle-mirrors-external on screen set up.

A reminder I never updated this thread!  Ordered 30th July 2024 and delivered Dec 28th. L&K 2.0 TSI Estate with HUD.  Not driven it far yet. I have a different mirror reverse dip issue. It dips OK when I select reverse but often doesnt come back up again after driving forward even when I get up to motorway speeds.  I do find the suspension a bit "thumpy" over bumps at low speed. Ive booked in with the supplying dealer next month to look at these. 

Have you enabled the AUTOHOLD ? This most useful function is hidden in the VEHICLE sub menu and holds the parking brake when you stop. An essential in my book but not enaled by default.

For faster access, you can add Auto Hold to the top bar of the screen (see picture). You can also change the order of the applications according to your preferences.

I ordered mine early november in dealer allocated factory slot - was due to be built week 3 Jan 25 for delivery mid February- just been informed delivery will now be mid April 25 - 2 month delay - circa 5-6 months from order

Dealership estimated delivery to be about 5-7 weeks but it was actually just a little over 2 weeks.

For the UK it seems to be pot luck as to how long the vehicle remains at Emden, as it waits for a car carrier ship destined for the appropriate UK destination port (in my case Sheerness).

You were wise choosing the rear wiper option. My last car was a Citroën C5X, no rear wiper the shape of the car and airflow was supposed to sweep the water off the rear screen. Never worked.

Ordered the Skoda 30 August, quoted 6 - 8 weeks delivery. collected 16 December. Early in December I was told car was at in Germany waiting for a ship. Agree with you, pot luck when it gets transported. Hope you are as pleased as I am with mine. Best car ever.

Hi all, Ordered Superb L&K 2.0Tsi 4x4 Hatch, 10th of Feb, build date 28th April, then expected time to delivery to me 4-6weeks after that.

how long from order did you get the build date from your dealer? I have order on the 28th Feb but still awaiting build date

Ordered 30/08/24 when I was advised 6 to 8 weeks delivery so was expectingg early November. After delays at factory and shipping from Germany I collected my estate 16/12/24. Have not had any of the teething problems reported by other users and am very pleased with mine.

Ordered mid November 2024.

Car built week 1 March 2025.

Expected delivery week 1 April 2025.

Roughly 5 months

@cirrus5299 Last year I ordered a Superb in the UK 30th July and got the build date confirmed to me at the end of October stating the factory build would start last week of November. So in my case build date confirmed about 3 months after the order was placed. The actual delivery to me was a week later that the estimate I was given when I placed the order so cant complain.

do we know of delivery delays with Superb in general, at this time...?

Ordered L&K 265 petrol 28/03/25, expecting (advised) 14wk delivery... Should be due anytime now, or so I thought...?

Have been liaising with dealer in Leeds & Skoda regarding "Track& Explore" in the app not working, then got this from the dealership today:

"...I have just looked at the system to get an update, the car is still waiting for a build date. Speaking to colleges over the weekend the reason we are unable to add to the “track&explore” is because we need to add in the Commission number, which is assigned when the car gets a build date."

I order mine on the 23/02/25 and got a build date week 20. Originally quoted 11 weeks. Car was built on the 16th May and after delays in shipping finally pick up on the 26th June. Car is fantastic no problems at all….
