Front screen washer pattern

Featured Replies

My windscreen washers are providing a spray on both sides of the screen.   However that on the passenger side seems to be less effective in providing a good wash.  I have noticed tht the driver's side is producing two streams in a V shape whereasd my passenger side (2013) is emitting only a single jet. I have removed the jet and blown through it with compressed air but it has made no difference.   Is this is as it should be or do the jets need replacing?  Thanks.

The Jets are so cheap that replacing is a very good idea.

Some washer fluids can contain silicates and other stuff, that can cause deposits to harden on the jets. Air won't remove this stuff, but sometimes a fine needle can. Or as said buy some new ones, but it may be better to for an OEM part.

Thanks both.  I'll sort some OEM replacements
