MK2 dash light with light bulb from camera placement.

Featured Replies

So, long story short i bought this octavia mk2 from a friend, he had led license plate lights in the trunk but not installed, i installed them and also installed a new navigation system from china. No problems there evrything working fine except the camera that i didint hook up corectly. Yesterday i decided to hook the camera up corectly, the thing is i powered the camera from the navigation aswell from the license plate lights. I disconected the camera from the license plate lights and the camera started working corectly, the problem now is that this light bulb warning appeared on the dash. The trunk is not opening anymore and the license plate lights dont work on the car, i ve removed them and tryed them with a 9v battery evrything works. Any sugestions? when i pulled on the harnes from the hatch of the trunck is there any way that i might have disconnected it from the ground? Also tried removing the license plate lights aswell and it still appears on the dash. My asumption is that i accidentaly touched a wire from the license plate lights to the metal of the hatch and somehow shorted it. Cant seem to find any fuses for this. Any help would be good thx
