slow charging

Featured Replies

Evening

My wife's Enyaq is charging slowly only showing between 1 and 3 Kw on the Ohme app and on our smart meter.. We've checked all the app settings for both the car and the wallbox charger, unplugged anything that could be a drain on the electric in case the car charger thinks it could be overloading the circuit board.  The green light next to the plug on the car seems to be pulsing from the normal bright green dimming then returning to the ,normal brightness every 3 - 5 seconds, comparable with the drop in power usage on the smart meter.

All settings are off.  We checked this with another wall box at the in law's and still the same issue, this ruling out the provider and wall box, any idea's

What’s the state of charge and air temperature?

Thanks for the reply, the ambient temperature was around 5 - 10c, it was charging fine in colder weather.  Its been back to Skoda today and the high voltage charger is faulty, new part ordered so hopefully all is well.  Which is strange we've only used the public network around 3 times since we had the car, so its a bit of mystery why it failed.  The last time it was on a public charger was at Manchester Airport when my wife was away on a works trip at half term
