Glow plug control unit issues

Featured Replies

Morning all

thank you for letting me join.
I have a superb estate 2.0TDi 150bhp (2018) with around 100k miles on the clock.
Check engine light game on -

checked battery voltage and appears to be fine

OBD2 code indicated glow plug control unit so replaced. code cleared. A couple of days later the fault appears to be back.
I have read it could be the glow plugs or wiring.
so was wondering if others had been this and what they had found to be the cause so a target steps logically.
many thanks

Yes I did, fitted a new one. Cleared the code and 2 or so days later it has come back

  • 2 months later...

Just got the same error myself, did you ever find the answer? Also did you have any issues with the engine starting? I have keyless start which sometimes doesn't fire
