So 6 years wear and tear. 71,475 miles worth of getting in and out.

Depends clothes the driver wears / rough / hard wearing & how they get in and out.

?

Have you had it from new and the wear is all from your usage?

Agreed, also how often they get out ie journey length, also their BMI, the seats in my MK1 were perfect at 188000 miles racked up by my chauffeur pal doing airport runs either 25, 50 or 100 miles each way, I was overweight then and wore the seat through in that place, I replaced the cover at the time I became fit and lean, no more visible wear on that and the next cars for 12 years.

I put weight on during the confinement and now the Yeti drivers seat is worn in that position, I dont wear jeans so no rivets to catch, cordura type work trousers should slide quite easily, I think my wallet carried in my right rear pocket is what causes the rubbing, if I were thinner again it would not be an issue.

@Alban how many kms of the 240000 the Fabia has done have you driven?

Strange as ours is 6 years old too and the seats look perfect still.

That's good👍 maybe  my car got bad quality seat

Maybe lower quality than older models, maybe different bolsters than other seats, maybe cheaper material than in an Audi or Porsche.

Different people of different body shapes and seat positions.

Maybeeven the Leather Option if available would be worn.

Just add Seat Cover, a Heavy Duty one.

I wanted to order a new one and the dealer told that price of the seat cover is 620 euro😱 just upper part! Its ridiculous.
