Hello everyone. 

I am Lazar. I am from Bosnia and Herzegovinia. 

I have some kind of problem with my Škoda Octavia MK3 2015 1.6TDI 77KW CLHA with 5-speed manual gearbox >

When the car is driven in second or third gear and turns to the left, a kind of scraping is heard (it is not a natural sound), that sound is much smaller, almost non-existent if I may say so, when it turns to the right. Also when driving in 1st or 2nd gear with no gas pedal pressed there is a scraping sound. When I start, when I give a little gas it goes away, but as soon as I release the gas pedal, it is heard. Maybe someone had a similar problem. A new set of SACHS clutches (disc, basket and thrust bearing) and a SACHS auxiliary cylinder were installed on the car. The car comes with a fixed flywheel from the factory, and I didn't change it because the service center said there was no need. The oil in the gearbox was also changed and the gearbox works great.

Have you checked the backing plate to your disc brakes?  They tend to rot out and end up scraping on the disc causing a scraping sound.

Hi. 

Thank you for your answer. 

Backing plate of disc is good without rast or some strange material between disc and plate. Also brake disc and disc brake pads are new (both is ATE).

Did you manage to find the problem?

No, as i previously mentioned, clutch set is new (SACHS). Also front and rear suspension and brakes are perfect.

But still do not know what cause this sound..
