I think Skoda and the treasuryhave done a deal 😭😭

That’s why I kept my 85 edition to under 40k, going to miss the matrix lights and the electric tailgate, but have a workaround “shut the boot dear”

There is a website that gives, Seat Height, Floor to seat height, Sill Heights etc etc. for different cars,

i used to look at the link to it on the Motability Website.

The Ground Clear (Road to low point under car) & Roof height of a car really does not give a try idea of the ease of in & out, and getting legs in or dirty sills / legs with vehicles.

Stupid Sill attachments / trims can be a PITA, As can sill to floor height.

Nothing beats getting in and out of the vehicles at road side or kerb side though.

Drivers / Passengers.

This wouldn't surprse me at all !

Has anyone had any delivery dates as yet, when I can actually get hold of my salesperson, only by e mailing, never get them on the phone, just get an e mail, not long now!!

I really get fed up with the lack of communication and seriously thinking of walking away and doing a deal on a Ford Explorer delivery in 1 week.

I'm being pleasantly surprised by my dealer every time I check - last weekend was "definitely by the end of March", and yesterday it was "it's in the country, so probably next week" ! I suspect it was on the same shipment as the demonstrators doing the rounds. (I ordered towards the end of December).

I am sure I will get a call out of the blue when I least expect it

Still have not parted with any money at all as yet

No I've not paid anything either - think the central Skoda ordering system took the 'risk' rather than the dealers (although I understand that system has been abandoned presumably because dealers had no flexibility and we all expect some these days). I'm going to take the £3k deposit contribution PCP deal and pay it off straight away, as recommended by the dealer!

I was offered the early bird £3500 no deposit 0%interest

Think that has gone now

Yes, thanks for reminding me - I think there was also a short period when the offer was £6000 at 6.9% or something similar. I'll be pushing for that deal when it comes to signing anything!!

I must admit that I have been looking around as my company car went back last week, so I am car less, and rural, but everything I have looked at I keep coming back to the Elroq, the explorer had a lot of std kit but gave me a neck ache and had haptic buttons, the ev3 is a really nice car but it just left me a bit cold,bx4 Toyota seems according to reviews lose range really quickly, and I come back to the Elroq and for me it just looks better, hope I am right

I've got a mini electric presently. Need bigger & more comfy now! Looked at the mini aceman (actually bought one, but declined it when they tried to hand it over with a dent!). It was a bit toy-town esque. Very colourful inside. Didn't like it! Had a Countryman for a couple of days - which I must admit I really liked. But the Elroq has better range & I suspect is going to feel similarly grown up. I'm excited to see. I did consider EV3 too and friend is getting an explorer this week, so will have a look at that when he's got it.

That is great news. Gives me hope i may get a call soon.

I think I have finally decided and I'm about to pull the trigger on an Edition 85, Graphite Grey, Lodge design, Maxx and Winter packs. I am told 3 months lead time, which seems to be others' experience. I saw a review of the grey version and the grey really framed the new front design of the car very nicely.

My dealer had just had 3 Elroq stock cars delivered in addition to the demonstrator delivered last week but no sign of my car ordered in October 😣

Is that Esplanade? I’m test driving the demonstrator there tomorrow while I wait for my one to be built

Was tempted to see if I could swap to stock one but not the same spec that I wanted

Yes it is. I sat in the demonstrator there last Saturday but it hadn't been prepared for road use then.

I did exactly the same last Saturday. Really hope it drives well as mine is being built week 13 and would be shame to cancel the order if I don’t like it tomorrow 😄

....and I hope I can get on with an electric car. If I see another Elroq on the island, it'll probably be you! I'll wave.

IT looks a though all of the dealers now have stock cars available for immediate delivery. On Skoda UK website there are 985 85 Edition Elroqs spread around the UK, the majority of which are available for immediate delivery. Not a single red one amongst them, so mine should be easy to spot when it does arrive

My Elroq left Germany on the 5th so i presume it is already at the UK port now? Although not sure how long the ferry crossing is on these big car ferries.

Bought one last Thursday after a test drive. A stock car with the exact spec I wanted. Got my reg number on Friday, just waiting for a call from the dealer to say it’s ready. 😁

Wow, a lot of us have been waiting since December, give us your address and we are coming round to duff you up!!

Really hope that you enjoy the car, can I ask what spec you went for

Wouldn’t blame you!

I have a Fabia and just popped in to the dealer to get some pricing on a trade in. I asked about an Elroq and they gave me the key to the demonstrator there and then. Was smitten after the test drive and asked what they had coming in as stock. Just so happened they had an 85 edition in pearl black with the 20” alloys! Deal done! It was registered yesterday, so I hope it’s not a long wait now. Anyone who hasn’t test drove one yet, you’re in for a treat!

Oh, and it has the Plus Pack. Can’t be getting my hands dirty opening a boot.😜

That's 3 days ago so I would hope it would be in the country by now, unless the ferry caught fire and sank. You should certainly be able to beat the dreaded April time line.
