Matrix LED Headlights adjustment after lowering the car

Featured Replies

I've lowered my car and the lights are facing down so i need to know the procedures to adjust the Matrix LED headlights using OBD11 or VCDS...

I've seen a lot of videos for VW and Audi but non of them for Skoda so i need advise from any one did the same in the Octavia MK4...

Thanks in advance..

When I a issue with my car headlights( Not Skoda) although I suspect same set up it had to go into dealer and have certain proceeds to be done to be able

to set them up, things like  certain amount of fuel, some people in and alike, and then they can be set but I think it was done manually not with electronics ie ODB11 or VCDS

or the dealers equivariant.

Visit a dealer/properly equipped garage and have them correctly adjusted. You'll require an ADAS calibration too since the wheel alignment & ride height have been adjusted.

Problem solved!!!

using OBD11
09 Cent. Elect. module ----> basic settings --->headlight basic settings --->factory setting...

lights finally moved up to the factory settings

then one error will come to your dashboard... don't panic...

you have to make Acknowledge basic settings... Error gone.. everything is working perfect...
and now it's perfect again.

Is the headlight adaptation/camera adaptation necessary after installing other suspension, without changing the ride height? Obviously, this would need wheel alignment.

On this topic, has anyone installed Bilstein B6 on the MK4 Octavia? I've read somewhere that it may make the ride height a bit higher than stock. Any experience with it?

Have you tried out the Matrix Headlights at night? Are they correctly adjusted with the LEDs going off at the correct spot where the cars are?

Any time suspension components are replaced, a wheel alignment should be done (or the alignment should be checked at a minimum). If changes are made to the rear wheel alignment then an ADAS calibration is necessary.

Wheel alignments have tolerances, realistically they're never going to be perfect/consistent
