so i’ve got a mk1 fabia VRS the car was making a ticking and thudding noise it was diagnosed to be the camshaft/ lifters. I had them changed along with timing belt and water pump but the thumping and ticking still continues, did the garage not put the camshaft in properly maybe? i’m lost any help would be appreciated 

If its still the same as before I would take it back to the garage. If they diagnosed it as camshaft/lifters and did the work they either didn't do it right or misdiagnosed the fault in the first place.
