Featured Replies

Good morning to everyone. Its strange but after updating software to 1985 im getting always SOS fault and its red. Is it possible that after update it affected SOS ? Is there any information about another new update about software?

Octavia 2020

Hi,

I also got the OTA update to 1985, luckily I have not had any problems. I guess you are out of warranty and so if you want maybe try to disconnect the car battery once the ECUs are sleep (open the hood first, wait for the hazard light button illumination to turns off, disconnect main battery) for around 1 hour and then reconnect. Maybe this would be enough to switch off  all the modules and when you re-connect, they should all wake up with the correct handshake to each other and all will hopefully work again properly.

How about in Skoda app maybe there is some function tu turn off that esim connections for SOS?

Hello @noskillm,

You can also try to remove dedicated fuses: 30s responsible for MIB/Infotainment and 19s for OCU/SOS module, for ~20mins.
The full restart procedure in the link below:

Good Luck
