Service Plan - All in ... good value?

Featured Replies

I didn't check but as the Dealer mentioned it I thought a change was "advised". The old one was quite dirty so I'm glad I did so myself for a few £ and two minute's work. You'd think the "other" service should at least include an inspection of the air filter and a quick blast with an air-line.

They don't even wash the car any more. I'll take to the main dealer for its next MOT (while the extended warranty is still in force) but after that, if I keep it, I'll use a local independent.

Skoda Servicing is Air Filter @ 6 years / 60,000 miles. & many do not even check it. Pollen / Cabin Filter is every 2 years. So if the Air Filter and the Pollen Filter get changed every 3 years then good. Nest if normal Servicing had the Air Filter looked at every service.

Sorry, just revisiting this.

Yes, 2 services, 1 air filter... It's only scheduled to be replaed every 2nd yr. Did you think it was supposed to be changed every service?

Pollen / cabin filter replacement is planned every 2 years / 30000km, whereas Air filter is planned every 6 years / 90000 km.

Maybe, you mixed both?
