4 season tyres on pertol VRS?

Featured Replies

Hello,

I have owned a 2014 petrol VRS from new.

In the summet I run goddyear eagle assymetrics and change my tyres in the winter.

I am statring to get bored of changing every 6 months (mandatory where I live)

I was wondering if 4 season tyres where possible with the 220 HP of the car.

If yes, are they any 4 season tyres that can be safe in the summer allowing occasional madness?

In the winter I always stay cool.

I mainly have cold weather and occasionaly go to the mountains, from part of the small trips to the mountains, I donn't get much snow

Plenty available suitable All Season (winter certificated) tyres for the Size, & Speed / Load ratings.

Thanks,

Anything in mind?

Michelin crossclimate 2

Goodyear Vector

The thing is not loose grip in the summer

I can HIGHLY recommend the Goodyear Vector 4 All Season tyres.  Its often cold / wet / Snowy / dirty roads here in Scotland.  We run them on both our Octavia's.  Absolutely blinding tyres.  They can do down to about -15C, light snowy condtions and up to 40C in summer.  What's not to like....

I fitted the Pirelli SF3 before this winter and I am greatly impressed by this tyre in cold weather, dry / snow / ice / rain !

I cannot judge yet for hot conditions...

Thanks for your comments.
I will look into these ones then
