Rear parking sensors

Featured Replies

Okay quick question 2 of my rear parking sensors have fallen through the bumper so do I have to remove the rear bumper to push them back into place or can I remove the rear diffuser and get to them from the underneath? Thanks

Hmmm... Id like too know this too. My sons MK3 has the sensors mounted up in the colour coded bumper, not the lower black plastic trim (diffuser?). One or more of his dont work and although taking the bumper off isn't the hardest thing in the world from the vids on YT, I'd prefer not to remove it at all.

I think that if you can get the car up on a ramp, you should be able to see the sensors - its fiddly without removing the bumper, but achieveable.

Hi and thanks for the reply.

I'm posting this pic as much for a test as anything but it will also illustrate the sensors positioning.

I'll have a look at the viability of changing them in situ when my lads next over.

Thanks again!
