Octavia Mk4.5 VRS on order - couple of questions!

Featured Replies

Hi all,

Placed a lease order earlier this week for a Mk4.5 Estate VRS in Race Blue. Car should be with me next month.

Watched a few YouTube videos of the various motoring vloggers and a couple have shown an Phone / Tablet holder to go into the back of the front seats. From my research the two items I need are...

3V0061129 - SKODA Smart Holder multimedia holder
5E3061128 - SKODA Smart Holder Adapter for Sports Seats

Can anybody tell me if either of these come with the car or if I need to purchase them seperately? Vloggers seemed to have them but wondered did press cars come with a few accessories to show off.

Another random question, when looking on Auto Trader at new ones for sale, the airbag in the steering wheel is different on some cars despite them all being Mk 4.5 - some have the Skoda badge, some have the Skoda lettering, anyone know why some have one and some have the other?

Thanks in advance and will probably have more questions soon!

Re Skoda badge on the airbag. First 4.5 cars have still the old badge. Newer ones have Skoda lettering. Probably because they had still old stock of airbags.

I have a Mk4.5 vRS in the UK, so feel able to comment. When your car arrives it should come with one tablet holder. I bought two (as have two kids) and I don't tend to trust the brochure, but car came with one so need to sell the other one). It also came with boot nets and those velcro stick down things for the boot.

Also, the airbag in mine has the older style logo, but finished in matt rather than gloss. They might be phasing out the older style however.

Good choice of car, it's lovely!

Depends on which country you are in. Here in New Zealand the tablet holder is standard.

Hello, apologies for piggy back. Does anyone know what tyres are VRS MK4.5 coming with?

I would guess it may well differ by market. Here in NZ mine came with Goodyear Eagle F1s. They seem okay but I always run Michelin Pilot Sports on my cars so will switch to them when the OEM tyres wear out.

Just collected (Saturday) mine came with Goodyear Eagle F1 Super Sport as well (UK model).

Others have reported Bridgestone Potenza

I had my car delivered mid Jan and it has the Bridgestone Potenza S005 on (UK)

Mine came with potenzas

Also came with the phone holder and a cargo net set...and two brollies

Maybe they think we get more rain than snow, so no snow brush in place of a brolly

2 Brollies are standard again in the RS I think. I got the phone holder, the rear tablet holder and nets and reversible mats and stuff I haven’t even looked at yet

I got a little bin for the door bin as well, and the dividers for the boot
