Ottocast not working.

Featured Replies

HI,

I've recently switched back to a Samsung phone, and have got an Ottocast unit to have wireless Android Auto. It doesnt seem to work in the car though. I have tried the same unit in my work car, and it's fine, and the one from the work car doesn't seem to work either, so I'm certain it's a car issue, not an Ottocast issue.

The car will recognise the unit, and try to connect to it, which it sometimes does, but then it will drop the connection within a few seconds. I have managed to get it to work correctly once so far, but then when I left and got back in the car it wouldn't work again. The phone works fine when it's plugged in directly. Has anyone else had a problem like this, and have you found a solution to it at all?

Kodiaq is very picky for the USB cables, so try a different one.
