Did you have a look to see if you had a microsd to sd card converter?

Columbus is all touchscreen including the volume - unless this is some sort of very old one…?

We need to make sure, OP's SD card is for Amundsen.

@Hamster59 Does your satnav only work with your Skoda SD card plugged into the car?

This new car has no card inserted and still works the sat nav

I’ll be writing the guide shortly, I’ll attach it as a pdf hopefully

Then it must be Columbus and you can use any SD card to update it. Sorry to add to the confusion.

Hopefully will be good, ignore some of the pictures are in the darkmode and not, i switched to a different PC.

There's a lot of steps, but dont worry it's easy enough I just wanted to be more in depth for you

Any questions let me know

I forgot to put at the bottom, go for a drive whilst maps are updating, when safe check the progress is going

Once it’s done it’ll go back to the maps screen, then go back to version info and you’ll see all the versions have changed from your current 2017 version.

Also something to note, one of the pictures you uploaded has the update button which looks different to mine, but it’ll do the same thing

Everything worked and the maps updates successfully to 2024 version, many thanks for your guidance, the only thing I couldn’t do was select all 3 folders at once so did it one at a time.

Awesome glad to hear it and good to know that much bigger sd cards have no issue

For the 1 file and 2 folders is was just selecting all three at once but kinda hard to explain
