In GR we call them like ''foot door decorative stickers", in the first years i had a pair like this

which basically i never liked but no many options those years-no internet buying etc so i kept them for a while.

Before some years i decide to change them and i bought a stripe more thicker-no shinning with a carbon look, the guy which install them didn't told me that were shorter than it should be and when i realise the result i wasn't so happy. 😠

Nothing great but the did their job but one day i had the thought to cover them with more darker carbon look tape which would fill those gaps too.

I bought this type:

and i install it above the existing one.

Someone may say ''why you didn't remove the previous ones?"

I didn't because this would take time and effort from the installer, plus more time to remove any glue remains plus if the work wasn't 100% good any small remain could cause a bulge below the new (and thin) carbon look tape.

The car will not go to a show so no need to be a perfect look task.

The photos are not so good and there are some reflections but you can get an idea.

The project hasn't finished yet, i will install a set of Logo (stickers) on them in few days.

Just as an experiment i ordered and installed stickers with the name ''Felicia'' on them, here is the result.

Maybe in the future i will do something different.
