What has a standard/electronic dipstick got to do with draining oil from the sump ?

Hi I wasn't sure if the sump would have a bolt or there would be another way as I couldn't find the bolt so was asking if having a electronic dipstick would the sump pan have a sump plug as couldn't see one thanks

The dealership is currently selling an oil dipstick for the Octavia 4 facelift. A black plug is removed and the dipstick is inserted through there. In Bulgaria it costs 15 euros (w/o installation).

The seals on the sipstick seem a little smaller than those on the plug, hopefully there's no problem with that.

Hi, I have Octavia 4 Facelift 1.5TSI 150hp 6M - I was looking for an oil dipstick but couldn't find one that I knew would be 100% suitable. I asked at the official Euratek representative office, but they said they don't sell it and officially there is no such dipstick. They told me to ask on the forums if anyone has tried a specific dipstick and it turned out 100%, as well as to measure 100% correctly. It is also important to know that it won't interfere with anything during engine operation.
This dipstick you're talking about - has it been tested, does it accurately indicate the oil level, does it seal well, and does it interfere with anything on the engine? I'm from Bulgaria - how can I find it? Does it have an OEM number?

The OEM code is

05E 115 611 B

Euratek, Druzba, Sofia

I ordered it. Have you tested it? And if so - on which engine and from which year?

Yes, I have it in my car. O4FL (2024), 1.5 TSI petrol 150 hp.

I paid for the installation because I thought this plug had to be removed with a special tool.

On your previous question, I am not sure if the dipstick should be removed while the engine is running...never asked in the dealer's garage.
