How do I pay for the additional ambient lighting colours? I can't find on the app or car how to upgrade?

Got the email this morning, but same as you, can't find any additional info about it. I'm sure they'll put out the proper link in the next few days.

In the Skoda App, look under ‘Profile’, then ‘Paid Services’. Mine are listed under ‘Functions on Demand’

I don't have that option on my app

I have an Android phone if that makes any difference, but I would have thought the App itself is virtually the same across Apple as well? 🤷🏼‍♂️

Mine is Android too. Under paid services I have the following:

Care Connect (already have)

Infotainment online (already have)

Pay to park

Pay to fuel

Traffication (already have)

Service Plans

Cube Telecom

This is how mine looks. However, as I tried the month long trial for the ambient lighting (and let it expire), this may be why it shows up here for me?

When I click on it to renew, I am redirected to shop.skoda-connect.com to log in and purchase.

Got email yesterday, went to check from iOS app and https://shop.skoda-connect.com/ but there were no options available. Later in the evening went to check again and then both functions on demand were available. So seemed to me that notification was done bit too early, before ordering was even possible.

Mine still isn't showing - will wait and see in a few days' time

I tried the app today and the ambient colour option is there. I've opted for the month trial to see if it's actually worth paying for or not

I just set mine to Blue and an open door changes to red when you open it. I have the footwells turned off too as you don't want to see dirty carpets LOL.

I need to try it in my car, but on the app it still says the trial is "pending" so will have to see if it works.

So I've been to my car and a notification came up to say that ambient lighting add-on would be active when I next switch the engine on. So engine off and back on again. Now when I go to ambient lighting I can't change colours and I don't know how to access the updated colours etc. I don't know if there's meant to be a different menu? All very strange.

So I rang Skoda and miraculously it's now working! Not sure how much it costs to have all the time so I may not bother after the trial but it's a nice to have for now

I've got the full version - £25 (UK) one-off payment. Initially it wouldn't let me change the colours at all, but after the car had been off for the day it started working - the colour bars are now more detailed and all 30 colours are available for both the LED strips and the other ambient lighting. Can't see any other differences.
