Liner/mat for variable boot floor

Featured Replies

Hello, I just got an 2016 octavia estate with variable boot floor and I'm trying to figure out what kind of liner I could use.

I was leaning for one without the side flaps that I could use for both raised and lowered height. And flexible enough that I could reach the lower section when raised.

What are your thoughts? Do you use a liner with vbf at all? How do you use it with different height?

Pics and links very welcome :)

Thanks!

There are numerous boot floor liners available. Your local Skoda dealer can assist with this - and there are also cheap £30 ebay liners available online too. My husband has a boot liner on his 2015 Octavia Estate with the flat boot liner. He has a cheap ebay special and finds it very adequate.

I had the VBF on my previous Octavia estate, always left the VBF in the up position as I found the space underneath useful for lots of small items and it made the load floor flatter.

I had a Skoda boot liner and just cut off the side flaps.

Thank you @varaderoguy

What I was wondering was which, amongst the many liner choices, you used for the variable boot floor.

I got a liner + carpet insert + bumper protector from carmats4u for £50 delivered. It's ok. Fits pretty well. The only complaints are the edge by the boot lip is raised up rather than flush and I had to trim a bit to get the triangle and first aid kit straps in.

I always keep floor in the up position to make it easier for the dog to get in and out.
