Hi All

The rear right hand side door module has failed. I have attached a photo of the one in situ in the car door. I have found a replacement on eBay where the part numbers match (circled in green). There are some codes that dont (circled in red), namely a manufacturer date and something else. My question is - will this part still work and more importantly do they need to be programmed to the car or are they plug and play?

Some coding might be required to match your car euqipment (e.g. warning lights in the door that lits when the door is open).

Are you sure that module is broken? How was the diagnosis done? Usually a non-responsive door module is caused by broken wires in the wiring loom between the A-pillar and the front drivers' door.
