Can you identify this leak?

I had the ABS pump replaced last year by a garage I have reason to suspect don't know their arses from their elbows.

IT's the same place I mentioned in my MOT thread that said the solution to a dead fuel injector was an injector cleaning fuel additive and a good drive...

So I don't doubt there is a link somewhere between their ABS work and this leak. The pump works - indeed I felt the reassuringly gravelly efforts of the ABS yesterday making up for weaker brake power - but I wouldn't be surprised if it was improperly installed, something loose etc.

Could very well just be a pipe union thats not been tightened properly if it was only replaced last year.

Okay, and the answer is - the cowboys that replaced the pump cross-thread on the brake pipes to the new pump (apparently this is BAD!) causing damage and a leak.

The pump now needs replacing owing to this, luckily I have managed to get a second-hand one at a decent price.

I will be writing to the original garage, recorded delivery, to provide suitable documentary evidence of costs incurred and requesting a refund.

Not good at all. Hopefully they will honour there mistake and refund you.
