Fabia VRS. Causes of rear inner tyre wear?

Featured Replies

As there is no rear tow adjustment on the MK1 VRS. What are the main causes for rear inner tyre wear?

Are you sure there's no toe adjustment?

What type or rear suspension does the Mk1 vRS have - IRS or torsion bar?

If there's truly no adjustment possible, excess inner tread wear could indicate running too low tyre pressure for load (although wear would normally be on inner and outer) - or something's bent.

  1. Worn rear beam bushes

  2. Bent rear beam

  3. Previous owner swapped front tyres with edge wear to the rear axle.

Neither; it has a rear torsion beam and coil springs.

Guess these could be assessed pretty easily on a ramp?

You'd need a wheel-free, because you need weight off wheels.

Thanks for info.

This is the rear tracking sheet so think it is not a swap from front issue...
