We've just picked up a new to us Kamiq. When we first went to see the vehicle we noticed some damage to the front bumpers - which they have fixed perfectly.

I didn't notice the same on the door handle. Managed to negotiate a slight discount, but if I could have some opinion.

I've attached a picture of the damage.

Can anyone advise if this damage to the paintwork?

If so, what kind of work will be involved with repairing.

Or, is this paint transfer to the vehicle?

If so, what could I use to remove it?

I'd take a guess that's paint transfer, try a gentle rub with car wash and cleaning pad - or a very gentle wipe with T-cut.

As warrior says deffo looks like transfer ,a rub with some compound or t cut should remove it 😁
