I have previously commented on lane assist being a problem but this morning it came very close to causing an accident. I was following a friend and neighbour on the first part of our respective journeys to work. The road is subject to a 60mph limit. I was doing just on 40. He turns right and pulls into the right turn lane provided so there is plenty of room to pass on the nearside. As I knew it was safe - Bob is an excellent driver - I continued at around 40 when the car suddenly ste

Well, I've had my 74 reg karoq (1.5 SE-L) for three weeks now. Still adapting, I appreciate, but there are two areas which I'm especially uncomfortable with and where advice would be welcome: I find the DSG gear change really jerky and laggy - quite a contrast with my partner's Audi A3 DSG which is incredibly smooth - I'd have thought the gear change experience would be similar. The lurch and gear change noise when I push the pedal down gently when going uphill is very noticeable in particul

Hello all, I believe the Karoq has a speed sensor on each wheel. Does anyone know how much difference there can be between the recorded speed on each wheel before the ABS system throws a fault? Is it 2%, 3%, 4%, ?% difference in rolling circumference (ie. wheels with different rim+tyre size). How much can be tolerated Front to Rear, and Side to Side? As a second question, where does the speedometer take its reading from? Thanks in advance.

Hello everyone, I have a problem with my fuel filler flap drain. It seems to be blocked. I've tried using a very fine brush, but I can't get it in. I also tried blowing air through the drain hole with a syringe. After heavy rain or when I wash the car, I have to empty the contents of the hatch with a syringe. Do you know if this part is easy to repair? Is it attached somewhere or does the pipe fall directly onto the wheel arch insulation? The hose reference: https://www.skoda-parts.com/spare-par
