(VCDS) Cant see "Easy entry" on the MIB or VCDS

Featured Replies

HI :)
ive got myself a VCDS for my superb 2016 style 2.0 220HP for usually maintnance,
i seen this post: https://www.briskoda.net/forums/topic/516414-vcds-options-on-superb-iiifl/
and i noticed the driver easy entry option.

now i saw in my MIB that in the "seats" options i dont have it, i have only to store in key.
and in VCDS i didnt find any option to enable it also, and long coding the length of the code doesnt fit.

is there something i am missing?

FL is facelift - and there were differences between the MIB and things that could be adapted. So you’ve linked to the VCDS page for the facelifted Mk3.

There is one for the non-FL too which might help.

Pre-FL was to May 2019ish then FL from there. You def have pre-FL version.

Not if it’s 2016 and that wasn’t a typo. Mk3 only came out in 2015 so it’ll be a fairly early one.

Easiest way to tell is whether it has the roundel on the boot or SKODA in spaced out lettering. The front and rear lights have also been changed but that’s more subtle.

Let us know how you get on 👍🏼

@LinoTheFox - as @travs indicated - urs is a mk3 pre-facelift Superb. MY15 to MY19.

mk3 Facelift arrived MY20.

mk4 Superb has just been released.

MY15 to MY17 can't do easy entry.

U need MY18 onwards for that.

Oh, sad. I really wanted that easy entry... i am a big and it would help me a lot...

Thank you all for clarifying everything! Thanks!

Maybe start with the obvious and post an autoscan from VCDS?

That will show exactly what modules you have and what might be possible :)

it is my first time going so deep into the versions of the superb and VCDS
i will get the autoscan for the modules and update :)

Can I suggest you do both an autoscan and then also make adaptation maps for all modules. If nothing else, just for your own records.

Having a back up can really help in the future if things go wrong 👍

oh yea i read about it, and also discovered that VCDS saves all the changes that you did in a file, which is really useful
