My 2008/9 Superb heated seat.

Featured Replies

My Superb driver heated seat in permanently on so I've had to remove the fuse, so how do I put this right? The passenger seat operates normally. Any help or advice would be gratefully received. Thanks.

Have you ever had water in your car?
I thought that the control module (relais) for the heated seats is below the seats, at the lowest point of the car interior.

Any water will accumulate exactly at that control module. Brilliant design....

I would check that module. Maybe you can exchange left and right (don't know if they are the same, but seams logical), and check if the problem moves to the other seat.

Affirmative, I had mine replaced because it was fried after water had come in some years ago. I paid about € 20 for it back in 2017 (a Chinese one still functioning today) See here

Hi and thanks for your interest in this, I have been told that on my model this item may well be under the carpet on the near side (UK MODEL) passenger seat. So can you tell me where your unit was placed and did you have to cut the carpet to fit it?

Many thanks D4KGP.

It is located where the wire loom of the seat vanishes under the carpet. just move the seat to the end rear position and dig it out 😉 FYI, my car is LHD
