Oil light will not go out after oil change. On Skoda Octavia mark 3

If on the dash shaped like oil can you’ve got issues if that’s lit as it shows low oil pressure and needs checking out

Service light no , but there’s a way to do it but I forgot

What engine do you have? Mine had a broken oil pump belt and also no vacuum, there is now signs of main and big end bearing damage. 1.6Tdi CXXB Engine

@Bobov Must be a sensor or wiring issue that the light is still on.

Because if you had low oil and got a Yellow Oil Can warning light, or low oil message and opened the bonnet yet did nothing, never topped up the oil the light goes off for 100 km / 62 miles or so.

PS

A Red Oil Can symbol light is Low Oil Pressure.
