Skoda Karoq 1.0 TSI internal loom wiring issues

Featured Replies

Hi,

I have just been quoted a small fortune for an internal wiring set (underdash etc.) and it would not be viable.

Could anyone recommend an Auto electrical Company or Individual that will work on repairing wiring looms within or near the Essex area as the ones I have tried just do minor work. (in & Out in a couple of hours, little effort most cash).

I am wary to carry out the repairs myself but if I could remove the loom i would be now consider it but there seems to be little information on this subject.

Any help would be appreciated . GB.

Whats the issue with the internal wiring loom? Its a very unusual subject to come up on this Forum for a current vehicle. You might try a Retrofit specialist - HazzyDayz are the only one I am familiar with and they are in Markyate J9 of the M1.

Hi, Thanks for the reply.

The Skoda Karoq was originally owned by a lady who lived on a farm, the wiring was damaged at the bulkhead by a mouse . I latter found out that Skoda of Worthing gave up on the car because they wanted to do a complete internal rewire and the insurance wouldn't cover their costs.

The car was sold to me as Stripped (believing it was Stolen recovered and drivable) but then I came across the numerus parts in the boot and thereafter the wiring issues. Thanks for your input. GB.

Wow thats quite something. Have you tried to source a wiring loom or the relevant section from a crashed Karoq.

Hi, tried many breakers, thought I had a loom but the staff pulled the wrong loom and could not supply the remaining loom (prossibly because it had been cut in the process).

Well I keep trying for another month then I will have to sell as is with declared faults. GB
