DSG 6 speed Oil Pan Rust

Well, I was planning to change the DSG oil today, but once the engine undertray was removed I found some quite heavy corrosion on the bottom of the oil pan.

The job is now postponed until I can get a new oil pan.

Not sure how common this is, but I thought it was worth a mention. It’s deeper than it looks in the photo.
