Kodiaq SE L racechip / map advice

Featured Replies

Hey all, I’m going to pick my Kodiaq SE L the weekend after coming from a Kamiq, I wanted the bigger car for family purposes but couldn’t afford a faster one which leads to my first question;

Is remapping this 150 tsi engine risky? I wanted better mpg as well as a little bit quicker but I don’t want to do anything without advice really.

If remapping isn’t advised, would the Racechip xlr5 help with the lag of the car? I saw a post somewhere and I’d be happy with that as a bare minimum, I know the car has a sport mode but I’m worried it’s still going to lag, thanks all!
