Adaptive Cruise Control (ACC) misaligned error - REPEATING

Driving my Skoda Superb down to France for the first time at the end of May. Half way down the M6 I got the error on the dash that my Adaptive Cruise Control / Front Sensor was unavailable.

Luckily i had an OBDEleven on board. Plugged it in and had error C110300 - "Sensor misaligned".

Only way to clear this was to have it recalibrated.

I found a local independent who outsourced the required equipment to various dealers/bodyshops around the country who said it could be done.

Apparently not many garages / bodyshops / dealers have the equipment in house due to the cost of it. (It's essentially some boards which are set out in front of the car with marker points on at correct heights/distances etc.)

First time he tried to recalibrate it he said he couldn't do it as the bracket which holds the sensor was broken. A common fault apparently.

He bought a new bracket and then recablibrated the system for me.

All working perfectly again.....

For 2 days and around 100miles before the error has returned this morning on my drive to work.

I wondered if anyone else has experienced repeat issues with this system and whether there is anything else I should be asking them to invesitgate when I take it back for re-calibration again...?
