Hi,

Brand new Sportline MkIV, a voice tells me not to forget my phone in the charging tray. I'm primary user and Andriod and have fully functional My Skoda app.

Mrs is also a user and working Apple Play, but the car does not tell her about the phone.

I've searched the digital manual and on here but can't find anything, possibly not using the right terms.

Anyone know how this works, how it can be switched on, if its an Android only thing or need My Skoda working (Mrs My Skoda app not yet "connected to the car").

No it’s a message for iPhone too. I presume it only occurs when you stop the car with a phone in the tray

Indeed it does, but not with the iPhone. Will complete the My Skoda set up tomorrow and go from there as that seems to be the only difference (apart from not primary and not android of course).

I don't have a charging tray and I get the message. I do have the iphone linked via bluetooth so I can use the car's "handsfree" facilities, I have always assumed it is that link that is causing the prompt (along with the "contacts uploaded" which I get whenever I get in the car).

Just to reiterate, this is an audible prompt, a chap says "don't forget to take your phone" or something similar. There are visual messages, and these come up for Android and iPhone.

Well I have an iPhone and it works for me. Pretty sure you can turn it off or at least down in the settings

Found it!

In the main settings screen at the bottom of the list "Mobile Phone reminder sound". I turned it off and did not get the nice chap telling me not to forget my phone in the charging tray. I am Andriod, fully set-up with My Skoda, Wifi connected and primary user.

On the Mrs user profile, the setting is on too so... I think I'll delete her (from the car you understand) and try again.
