Occasionally when I leave the car and switch off, the wipers move into service position for no apparent reason. As far as I know I have not done anything different from normal.

Any explanation?

After switch off, If you move wipers lever to down position one time, it will go to service position, when you get in after swich on move lever to up position to get out of service position. maybe your hand touch or there is something wrong about the lever.
