Octavia 2 Facelift VRS – 2012, 250 HP, DSG automatic transmission

Featured Replies

hello guys, I want to buy my first skoda vrs and I just want to know if this one I am about to buy it's really worth it, this is the description from the seller:

Custom exhaust with vacuum-operated valve + control module – civilized sound in the city, aggressive when you want to stand out
Soft pops & bangs – sporty response and powerful sound
K&N sport intake – improved performance
Height-adjustable sport suspension – stability in corners
New Keskin KT17 wheels, purchased on 06.09.2024

Leather interior with heated seats
Dual-zone Climatronic
Original navigation system + steering wheel controls
Adaptive LED headlights – perfect visibility at night
Panoramic sunroof

Maintenance and vehicle history:

🔧 Serviced every max. 10,000 km – oil, filters, and consumables changed on time
🔧 No hidden issues, carefully maintained

and the car also looks great, the only thing that holds me back it's the high mileage (300.000KM) and that the seller doesn't have the service history bills because he told me that he didn't intented to sell it till now, the price is 8.700E, what should I do?

Welcome.

It is a TSI i take it.

What re-map takes it to 250 bhp? Is there a Dyno Print out or some proof?

What country are you in, and is you insuring it not an issue?

Not having receipts for the oil and filters does not really matter does it, it was not getting services at dealerships was it, and they say they were doing it every 10,000 km, which is not even at the fixed service regime, unless that was each year.

WHAT IS THE SERVICE & MAINTENANCE HISTORY THAT THEY SAY THEY DO HAVE IF NOT THE BILLS?

?

How long have they had the car?
