Door mirror indicators

Featured Replies

I've just noticed that my door mirror indicators don't flash orange on the very ends i.e. when sat in the drivers seat there is a tiny portion of the indicator that extends past the end of the mirror so you can see the flashing. They haven't ever done it as far as I remember but that doesn't make it correct, are they both broken or is this 'normal' ? I'm only going by what my previous Golf had.

Thanks

They are aftermarket so it depends on what ones you buy

OK thanks, I hadn't realised. What's the giveaway, the fact that the LEDs sweep across ?

Yes. I think they're the style you can get from Progressive Parts, or your favourite discount Chinese retailer. Do they have any E markings on them?

I bought those. They’re cr@p for exactly the reason you’re querying yours; they don’t illuminate all the way to the end of the unit. They’re sat in a box in the basement.
