Recently the interior lights in my Enyaq iV80 have taken to turning on and off at random times and anytime day or night whilst I am driving.

Slightly distracting particularly at night though not a major problem, just annoying when you catch it in peripheral vision and touch the light to turn it off, only for it to turn itself on again a few minutes or seconds later.

I have started having exactly the same in the last few weeks - not every time I drive....

One or both map lights come on, you hear the audible click, like someone has waved to turn them on/off. Happens for a period of about 5-10 mins, then it's fine...

No air freshener hanging down, no dust, dirt - gleaming clean.

Skoda "Disco Mode"?

Also happening in my 2024 Enyaq vRS, although only when my wife is driving! One theory I have is that the on-off "button" is actually a optical proximity sensor which is catching stray reflected light from her wrist jewellery.
