I feel like a right plonker asking dumb questions but here goes, are you meant to lift your foot off the acc pedal when changing gear if manual mode or do you just keep it down? cheers

With a DSG, just keep accelerating, the change is so quick you'll not notice.

There are no stupid questions, just inquisitive people.

keep your foot down no need to lift, if you hit redline it will change up for you and conversely if you stop it will select first, its pretty clever.

Still getting used to mine, great on twisty roads.

and the engine goes pop because you were doing 120mph when it made the gearchange:D but i suppose the electronics wont allow it to do this
