Hi, is there a way to adjust headlights on a UK car for driving on the right in continental Europe? Is it even necessary to do anything?

I don't want to use those stickers!

Only with matrix headlights can you adjust for mainland Europe.

The stickers work well - if they are located correctly. That sounds an obvious statement (which it is) but the placement is absolutely critical; I fitted some and they were totally ineffective; moved them no more than 2mm and bingo! Absolutely fine.

Unlike the days of old fashioned headlights there is no nice lines on the glass so it is trying to line them up with the internal components. A pain in the wotsit!

Nowadays I just set the beam to a lower angle to avoid dazzling in coming traffic. Not had an issue even with a heavily laden boot (but have a set of deflectors in the car just in case).

Defo had this on my 2014 Octavia VRS - I think that had the Xenon headlights (defo not LED). From what I recall there was a setting in the infotainment to set it to automatic.
