Sill repair

Featured Replies

Well my 1998 Felly 1.3 I have had from new has gone in for some repairs to the sills just welding and it is going to cost me a lot a hell of a lot but in the end she is worth it and there is no way I would scrap her it would be like losing a member of the family I would rather leave her on the drive and let her rot away.

Anyway she will be up and running in a day or two. will post a pic when she back.

You have rust on the sills or you have damage them for example while parking push them on the pavement?

just rust time has taken its toll 27 years is a long time for steel to stay free of rust here in wet UK.

Has been repaired mainly the rear on both sides replaced with new steel.

27 years is a very long time for steel to stay free of rust in the UK, well done on getting so far.

How much this cost you mate? Have bought some new sills and rear arches, not too bothered about the sills just yet but would like a rough estimate thanks
