Have you taken that armrest panel off to see if any are hidden by it.

A good idea is the go to the Skoda version of ERWIN and you can download all the information on how to pull your car to bits with nice illustrations and which tools are needed and all, Cost me $10 AU for an hour and I d/loaded3 full cars info in that time Is a marvelous resource https://skoda.erwin-store.com/erwin/showOrderFlatrate.do

Yes you don't want to break any of the wunderbar fantastic-plastic, particularly on the very fiddly wire connectors or bits in the engine bay (how "Simply Clever") but if you get something plastic like a kitchen spatula or buy the plastic interior trim tools set you can ease the plastic parts up, you'll soon get the feel of what will lift and what wont.

I've just had a quick look at the rear door on a MK3 and it has screws - behind that door pull as Exkiwi put up for you, at the speaker cover at top rail area - and some other fastenings.

Unless you can get some images it's one of those jobs you learn as you go along and forget how to later when you need to remove the door panel as the rear door seals has gone and lets water into the rear floor (another job I've got to fart about doing before the colder and wetter weather arrives, thank you 'German engineering').

Once you have done the job if you wanted to you could put up a thread on how to do it for others in the 'Skoda Fabia Guides' section - or perhaps you could look there for some guidance on previous models.

For YouTube videos 'HatBoyHarvey' has good videos on the Mk1 and 'CarSpyTV' has good videos showing the use of those small interior trim tools in use on various cars and Fabia Mk3.

The rear doors on most models are similarly fixed There are the 3 or 4 screws as shown in my Kamiq door and up to 8 plugs around the edge of the door as shown in the pic Th e bottom one turns 90 deg with a screwdriver or a spanner I have a set of the plastic body tools and slid the long forked one in around each plug and just twisted it and they pop out. I cant remember cos its 4 years since I did done but I think some of them have to be reset as they are in two pieces and they slide together to lock panel against door frame. They are cheap to muy as I got a packet for about $5 off one of the Chinese sites Body tools here https://www.ebay.com.au/itm/387754420845?_skw=car+trim+removal+tools&itmmeta=01K3G39HR03SEP2RESN0SD15QP&hash=item5a47f6ea6d:g:~msAAOSwhKVm5TWA&itmprp=enc%3AAQAKAAAA0FkggFvd1GGDu0w3yXCmi1d5baWdDM9qifIJ1a%2FC5MXkNLffyDRsQHa4VEpvylpa09%2F63iNONQJGi7kw61IqMtAoTolZ8e2qHhSeh8u0A1lBVODgTHb9Wp6QN3Ek9o2mdFRO37HPathQN9UQtZNNLme1i%2F%2BBEZUXUnXfA4WnARma2JR6ZTDSJ82gReOpN9Nd2BQKGaJ0qT2YXJg3yDSTWpat7SKw9iG5nxkVsLnrsMqu0i6u52Zn1Os9nxbHl3UG2m0be4FtfcD6eXLrcH%2FDyak%3D%7Ctkp%3ABlBMUJScpoOcZg Just slide it in so that prongs are around it and twist. If i remember the top pops up out of the bottom and then it all lifts out when u put it back make sure they have all popped up as they wont go back in if pushed in.. I had to ping a few pf them

@Exkiwi you may be interested, you may not, you can save virtual post and page space by not having the search stream on an eBay item, you can delete all after the end of the item (itm) number, e.g. - https://www.ebay.com.au/itm/387754420845

@Peter7705 Lidl were selling a similar (green) Parkside set of 14 for £7.99 or you can get a set of four plastic orange ones elsewhere. example only - https://www.ebay.co.uk/itm/277283535042

This image is of the back of a door-card from a Fabia Mk4.

Screen Shot 2025-08-25 at 14.05.33.png

As Peter said in his original enquiry, there are fixing screws under two removable 'caps' in one edge of the card and a visible fixing in the card's lower edge - and that's it!

There may well be further fixings behind the armrest's trim panels, but the procedure for removing a Fabia Mk4's rear-door card does not seem to be available anywhere online for free.

I allready have that tools , they are great .

Tools are only bending when i try on panel 😅 the panel will remain in place during an earthquake 🤣

Sounds like 'hidden' fixings then possibly/probably screws, I can't make anything out from the photo other than clips-thingies.

The door cards have these type (but not these exact ones) in them WHERE THEY ARE MARKED IN TH PICS they go into holes in the inside of the door you put the body tool in around them and twist then they should disengage they are two parts so need a bit of massaging and if you have Youtube on front doors, rears are the same. If your body tools wont work get a big flat screwdriver and wedge them with that Have had the Kamiq and Tiguan cards off and they are all the same . Just make sure when you put them back the centre pin is pulled out as in the LEFT one in the pic to make it smaller or it wont go in the other part and you have to start again.See the difference i diameter between the 2 Dont ask how I found that out These ones have to be split to get them out and I think the door ones do also so what you have to do is get a screwdriver in the slot in the top of them and pull the center bit up and they will pop out

Those fixings look like the ones on Japanese cars going back decades, best to always have a few of them spare as they fatigue with age and use and being dropped and lost/forgotten. Problem is when you come to order them there are so many that look the same but are slightly different and often cheaper to get a 100 than 10 or so

These are used by sensible car manufacturers where they are clearly visible and easy to operate - there might be some on the underside of the VWŠkodas but I can't remember as I fart about with the VWŠkoda or any car the least I possibly can particularly anything on the underside.

Must be a number of decimal places of a cent less for VW to purchase these than other types or the ones they previously(?) used.

Yes I bought a packet of assorted ones from Ali Express Was about $4 inc postage for about 50 assorted. I damaged a couple getting my Tiguan skin off so rather than pay VW $3 for 1 I bought them. There are also these ones which fit into the keyhole shaped hole in the doorskin and just push into the frame More likely these than the others I showed. These just pop out but are a bit tight and sometimes pull through the doorskin and then you have to wiggle them out of the door frame Top part is where the card is. rest just pushes into frame.

Although there is (apparently) no online video explaining how to remove a Fabia Mk4's rear-door card, this video describes card-removal for a 2017 Mk3 with manual window-winder.

The removal procedure is similar(though not identical) to that used for a Fabia Mk4 and the video includes sight of the rear of the removed door-card that resembles fairly closely the photo of a Mk4 card I provided in my posting on Monday.

The following link offers various car manuals.

https://cardiagn.com/

11 Skoda Fabia-related manuals are available, including a workshop manual for a Fabia Mk4 (2022-2023).

I'm not sure how complete this manual is: I looked for a couple of things that were present in the index, but were missing from the 'text'. Fortunately guidance on rear-door-card removal was present in both index and text. (And, of course, there's no charge for accessing the information.)
