We’re taking the Elroq on a ferry to Ireland soon and are requested/ required to disable the alarm to avoid motion setting it off. I can only find how to disable the internal motion alarm

Anyone know how to disable the external motion alarm? Other than leaving the car unlocked of course!

Turning off the internal monitoring also turns off the two away protection. It is the tow away protection that sets off the alarm on ferries. You should be able to go into the manual and search "ferry" or "ferries".

No luck with searching for ferry/ferries however taking your hint I searched for 'tow' and found instructions on the third page.

Tried following the procedure on my infotainment screen but doesn't work as some of the options don't exist!

Will try the key button option on ferry and hope it works!!
