First time being here so to start sorry if I do some errors.

I have Skoda Octavia IV 2020 and I started to have problem with Infotainment system touch panel is pressing controls by itself. I tried to do software update, but it's impossible because it keeps on pressing volume up down and power button randomly moving me around menu constantly.

from system info it's Hardware H56 Software 1668 which from what I could google it's ancient

Is there anything that can be done to it or do I just have to replace the whole screen assembly?? Car doesn't have warranty anymore and service said repair will cost around 1400€
