Recently bought a 2020 Octavia vRS estate and noticed there are bright LED's on the side of the main headlight cluster that come on randomly when the headlighht is on and when i select reverse (it's a DSG gearbox).

They are super bright and light up the side of the road which is handy butu there is no rhym nor reason to when they come on! Sometimes when turning and sometimes when on a straight road!

Very odd.

Any ideas?

A 2020 Octavia could be a Mk3 or Mk4, which do you have?

From your description of the LEDs on the side of the headlights I suspect (but could be wrong!) that you have a Mk4.
