Timing Belt change intervals

Featured Replies

Okay I'm completely confused now when I try to find the recommended interval to change the timing belt on my 2017 Superb 2.0 TDI 190......

I changed the orginal belt just before 60k as the water pump went kaput but as I'm just going over 120k I thought I would be looking at another rather large bill. But looking on the forum and elsewhere online there seems to be complete confusion as to what the recommended interval now is?????

Is there a source of the official Skoda tables showing the intervals?

Hello, I'm certain that you will find confirmation of recommended change interval if you Google any official VAG website.

I looked on the Skoda site but could only find the more generic service schedules

Probably more likely to find the information you require on a VAG website - the engines are identical.

any links as all my searches just bring me back to Volkswagen pages similar to the Skoda ones

I believe that the current change interval is either 120K or 140K miles for TSI, think TDI is the same.

The garage that did the first change has confirmed 140k
