Fabia alloy wheels

Featured Replies

Just took delivery of my brand new se-l dsg fabia. Lovely car.

Issue is the wheels are too small. 16” but look tiny, probably because the arches are so big.

Does anyone have a link to a good Skoda parts supplier so I can source some 17/18” from the accessories ?

I’ve seen a company in Czech that has good stocks and choices but not sure if they are a reliable company.

Thanks

The wheel arches will remain the same size and the circumference of the tyres you put on 17 or 18" wheels will be pretty much the same as the 16" tyres. Only they will be lower profile.

Lowering the car might be 'Simply Clever'.

I understand that but they won’t look as puny. More rim, Less tyre

On the Fabia MK4, the offsets vary depending on the rim diameter.

As you can see in the chart below, the Fabia MK4 offsets range from ET38 (for the 14" rims) to ET51 (for the 17" and 18" rims).

Offset for Fabia MK4 rim

185/70R14 5Jx14 ET38

185/65R15 5.5Jx15 ET40

195/55R16 6Jx16 ET45

215/45R17 7Jx17 ET51

215/40R18 7Jx18 ET51

That website you linked has some excellent wheels. Including the ones attached.

Shame I can’t speak Czech…

And the transport costs plus the customs clearance

The alloy rims on that Czech website can be ordered from any VAG parts department in the UK...because those rims are in the Skoda accessory catalogue.

The Skoda alloy wheels catalogue can be found here:

https://www.skoda.co.uk/_doc/91603989-bb80-4c40-b3e9-a13932071c3f

For the Fabia, 15", 16", 17" and 18" diameter wheels are shown and the ET (offset) and tyre size are provided for each wheel.

These earlier forum discussions related to lowering a Fabia Mk 4 Monte Carlo model

and the photos may give some idea of the 'wheel arch' look.

The Fabia Mk 4 130 model has no-other-choice 18" Libra black-painted diamond-cut alloy wheels (with smoke top coat) and a -15mm lowered suspension 'sport chassis'.

and, for comparison purposes, a Fabia Mk 4 SE L with the standard 16"-diameter wheels.
